A lakeside pilgrimage town on the shore of Titicaca at nearly four thousand metres, a boat out to the Isla del Sol where Inca creation myths say the sun itself was born, and trout fresh from the highest navigable lake in the world.
The best time to visit Copacabana is Apr–Oct, when typical daytime highs reach about 15°C (60°F).
